Day 60: Feed Me....
Miss Laura is not shy or even slightly polite about her feeding habits. Such as this morning. She was fed last night before we went to bed. Fast forward to this morning, Justin and I were laying in bed and she pounced on us, and let us know she was HUNGRY.. He got up and she ran so fast and zipped through the house hit the kitchen and went straight to her bowl..

Day 59: Not Your Prince Charming..
Going through some things that were in an old box and took a picture to put up on eBay when I took the time to notice the provocative and perverse position of Prince Froggie A.. At least little Prince Froggie B is taking the time to play coy... WOW.. I am fetching for pictures while I play catch up for the past week :X

Day 58: The Giving Tree....
This tree was by our hotel in California.. Looking out it always reminded me of the giving tree. Obviously it was pruned and being winter, it was not in bloom. There were others around like it. I have no idea what kind of tree it really is. I had a lot of time to ponder what it would actually look like bloomed out in all its wonder.

Day 52: Smog is gross!
Anaheim with the LA smog in the distance..
In the middle of the smog in LA.. There is hardly any visibility..
Driving through we could see the rim of smog from Anaheim. Above us was blue with some fluffy white clouds, but you could see the poisonous veil that had enveloped the skyline in the not so far distance. By the time we reached the smog you could not see behind, infront or on the sides it was that bad. So much for sightseeing.. BLECK.. I hate smog! :X

Day 47: Happy Valentines Day
Jack hiding his face in line at the Toy Story Ride
Jack eating the Happiest ice cream on Earth!
Justin and I in line at Haunted Mansion.
Jack and Daddy in the Jungle Boat ride...
Family Shot.
Happy Valentines Day.. We spent the day at Disney Land. It was a very quick stop through LA and we were fortunate enough to get to take a last minute trip to the Happiest Place on Earth on the most romantic day of the year.. Just some of the pics.. For the most part, Jack didn't want his picture taken. He hid his face or just didn't look. Oh well, he had good day even if I didn't get many pictures..

Day 43:Which Way do we go???
When we drove East toward Quartzsite today I snapped a picture of this sign.. Interesting enough.
Today we had two border patrol cars haul it, light on and everything. Makes me wonder what is going on.. You wouldn't believe all the border patrol here and we are at least 80 miles from Mexico too.. I was talking to the maid about it, and she said do not go into Phoenix, that it was too dangerous.. :O

Day 38: Oh The Ironies...
Rabobank... Ironically, through our stay this past month we learned that Rabobank holds up to its name. Despite being a small town in the desert, there are a few banks, of which have been robbed. The bank that I went in had quite the security. We walked to the door, to which we found was no longer a door and found that the bank had only one entrance. We tried to go in and there was a red and green light, we had to wait for clearance and then we walked in. The door LOCKED behind us, and we were locked in a tunnel. After we passed the screening we were allowed to open the next set of doors and enter the bank. I had no idea banking was this dangerous. Trust me, I would have just waited. Back home, it is NOTHING like this. But, after we got to the counter I asked and the cashier gladly gave us the d-low on it all. She told us that Rabobank had been robbed the most and yet it still didn't change its security policies.. So, it does live up to its name.. :P

Day 36: A Fugazi among them...
This must be the newest in Cell tower chic. Oregon may be as far behind as Russia on their cell towers. Our towers our resemble more of something you would see on the Sputnik than in nature.. Driving through Nevada I spotted two different styles of faux towers, amusing and actually really neat.. That or I am easily entertained...

Day 35: A Desert Sunset....
I don't think I could ever get tired of these beautiful desert sunsets.. The skyline is vast and so colorful, its breath taking. It doesn't matter where you are at here, this beautiful view can be seen everywhere. It is so open. I love the desert!
P.S. This picture is unedited. Just my camera, I didn't even crop it. ;)

Day 34: The Warning
Slightly amusing and yet a thought to chew on while your tromping through the desert, with wreck less abandon looking for rocks, and not snakes. I get focused on eying one color and looking for that one alone, and its easy to zone everything else out. Its a good thing its been cold, other wise I doubt my husband would be able to get me out past a parking lot if we were to encounter a rattle snake.
I overturned a big quartz and accidentally found this critter. Giant Millipede or Centipede I'm not sure which. I panicked when I first saw it, but then of course stuck around to take a picture and my rock...
On our two day rock trek we saw one giant rabbit, his ears were HUGE. A hare I think they are called. And seven very fast, too fast for pictures lizards.

Day 32: The Cactus
Jack and I were so excited to get up close and see our first Arizona cactus. Jack had never seen a cactus and I hadn't since I was a little girl, and could hardly remember. Finally, we got to see a cactus up close to touch while we were out in the desert rock hounding/hunting today. And I, being me, touched it and guess what, they hurt. Surprise! :::snickers:::
