Day 83: Cherubic

Day 78: Shopping with Jack....

Shopping at the Mall with Jack is a challenging way to get exercise!  Here is an example of trying to look around at Kids Gap..  We walked quite a bit and totally walked all the squiggles out of him!!! He was SNORING!  Nothing a hex bug or a little ice cream won't fix ;)

Day 75: The Bubbled Beard

Jack LOVES bubbles in his bath... He doesn't always get them, and I usually use my body wash so that it smells yummy to make the bubbles so he has a blast..  He makes all kinds of imaginative shapes, but his favorite is the bubble beard.. Who didn't when they were kids???

Day 63: Forget-me-not....

Just a pile of leaves, but really... Left over from fall, winter is almost over... Spring is almost here...  Pretty soon our world will be in bloom and these leaves will be out of view and forgotten until fall returns..

Day 60: Feed Me....

 Miss Laura is not shy or even slightly polite about her feeding habits.  Such as this morning.  She was fed last night before we went to bed.  Fast forward to this morning, Justin and I were laying in bed  and she pounced on us, and let us know she was HUNGRY.. He got up and she ran so fast and zipped through the house hit the kitchen and went straight to her bowl.. 

Day 59: Not Your Prince Charming..

Going through some things that were in an old box and took a picture to put up on eBay when I took the time to notice the provocative and perverse position of Prince Froggie A..  At least little Prince Froggie B is taking the time to play coy... WOW.. I am fetching for pictures while I play catch up for the past week :X

Day 58: The Giving Tree....

This tree was by our hotel in California..  Looking out it always reminded me of the giving tree.  Obviously it was pruned and being winter, it was not in bloom.  There were others around like it.  I have no idea what kind of tree it really is.  I had a lot of time to ponder what it would actually look like bloomed out in all its wonder.  

Day 57: The Lady With the Aligator Purse..,

Remember the rhyme about the lady with the aligator purse??  We that was me.   I listed it on eBay and it sold..  :O

Day 56: Falling Softly All around Us...

The snow this year was brief, and only stayed a day, and then melted away..  But it was beautiful coming down, softly in tiny ice petals..  I'm happy I was able to get this picture before it was all said and done ;)

Day 55: Polka-dots...

Archived from May 2010..  Jack  and his Ladybug.. He loves doing this..  I remember doing this as a kid and still do it when I see a lady bug, always careful to put it on a rosebush when/if I can..  

Day 54: A ha!!!!!!

So I cheated..  I am using a really old picture of me from 1982.  I haven't taken any new pictures because I have been obsessed with my new hobby - BEADS!!!!!!

Day 53: What I made...

A three string choker I  made in my new found hobby.....  Gold Quartz with Baroque Pearls & Charlotte Seed Beads..   Silver findings..

Day 52: Smog is gross!

 In the middle of the smog in LA.. There is hardly any visibility..

Driving through we could see the rim of smog from Anaheim.  Above us was blue with some fluffy white clouds, but you could see the poisonous veil that had enveloped the skyline in the not so far distance.  By the time we reached the smog you could not see behind, infront or on the sides it was that bad.  So much for sightseeing.. BLECK.. I hate smog! :X

I never got any pictures on my Utah adventures but then again I did not see this many of these wind turbines on my treks to and from Utah.  There were hundreds of these lined up near Palm Springs in California on our drive home.  I got a few pictures, here is my favorite one:

Happy Valentines Day.. We spent the day at Disney Land.  It was a very quick stop through LA and we were fortunate enough to get to take a last minute trip to the Happiest Place on Earth on the most romantic day of the year.. Just some of the pics.. For the most part, Jack didn't want his picture taken.  He hid his face or just didn't look. Oh well, he had good day even if I didn't get many pictures..

Day 44: Footprints

Just about everyday Jack and I have gone to the hot tub since the pool is not warm enough ( at least yet )..  This foot print was made on or about the dust storm and has survived since.  I had to take a picture since its Jack's footsies!..

Day 43:Which Way do we go???

When we drove East toward Quartzsite today I snapped a picture of this sign..  Interesting enough.

Today we had two border patrol cars haul it, light on and everything.  Makes me wonder what is going on..  You wouldn't believe all the border patrol here and we are at least 80 miles from Mexico too..  I was talking to the maid about it, and she said do not go into Phoenix, that it was too dangerous..  :O  

Day 42: A bloom in the Desert..

Today...  while driving up to Lake Havasu City, Arizona I spotted this bloom off the side of the road.  The first flower I have seen in my desert adventures..  And it was a Lupin.  I had no idea they grew in Arizona in the wild..  Reminded me a little bit of home..
